Warm Greetings to all! I came back here again.
During passed period we have changed a lot of things.
1. According to your advices our trip will be from 10.06 (Lyon) to 02.07.2015 (Nice). I hope we will see a blooming lavender and weather be better than in April...
2. I have made the new track of our trip and you can find it here <www.gpsies.com/mapOnly.do?fileId=idmjiolnuuatolfa&isFullScreenLeave=true>
3. We already confirmed accommodation at first night (with transfer from airport Lyon by mini-bus) and last 3 nights in Nice.
Thank you very much to all for advices. I hope our trip will be the best 😄.
1. Could you please look again our track. May be there are some mistakes and we have a time to change it.
2. What do you think about run to Monako by bicycles? Is it not so hard (I mean top way via Eze and run in the city)?
3. What is the best web-site to check real weather in France?
Thank you very much in advance!

No one in France is not looking weather?
No one has ever been in Monaco?
The main site for weather forecast in France is the meteo france web site www.meteofrance.com/accueil
Concerning your bike tour as I told you last year it's better to avoid the costal road between Cannes and Nice. A lot of traffic jams etc. It's better from Grasse to go to Vence (for exemple via Gourdon , Tourrettes sur Loup) Saint Paul de Vence,Cagnes and Nice airport.

Except that there is a fine bicycle path between Mandelieu and Nice, just near the beaches. But there is a lot of pedestrians and the path is not so large.
My best advise to end this trip safely, is to reach the bicycle path leading to Nice on the right bank along the river "Le Var", from "Le Lac du Broc". So from Grasse you should move East and not South.
Between Nice and Monaco, no other solution than the very touristic road M6098.

I work in Monaco. What type of information do you need about it ?
I had a look to your 20th day.
I advise you to ride
St Valier > Chateauneuf de Grasse > Tourette S Loup > Vence > St Jeannet > Gattières > Pont de la Manda where you will reach the bicycle path leading to St Laurent du Var and then the coastal bicycle path up to the Port of Nice and then you only have to reach the flat you have rent
Something like that
Really meteo France shows the best forecast. tinou74, thanks a lot.
As to the way to Nice what do yoy think about this track www.gpsies.com/mapOnly.do?fileId=tjhkifwghrachrku&isFullScreenLeave=true ? Is it right to go by left bank of Le Var river? The right one is a little bit shorter...
Phil'Ô, as to Monako I think to run there by up road (M 6007) with visit to the village Eze and return by road M 6098. What do you think about M 6007? It is just one chance to visit Eze...
M6007 is very dangerous because there is a lot of parts of it which are in double ways. M6007 is near an highway, so the cars are moving very fast on this road and the bicycles are not welcomed on it.
If you want to visit Eze, I recommand you to get to the Col d'Eze from Nice by the higher corniche (M2564) on which there is less traffic and is more panoramic (but more climbing). From the Col d'Eze you can reach Eze very easily. To turn back on the Col d'Eze will warm your legs. Back on Le Col d'Eze you can reach la Turbie and then join Monaco by D37 or better by the D53 (which avoid you a small part of the M 6007). Or you can try to go to Monaco by the M6007. From Eze to Monaco it is only descent, so you can go quickly on this road, but be careful, the cars are really fast and not friendly on this road... 😉 .
To reach Monaco, the only safe road (for a cycle) is M6098, because more touristic and then the car are moving on it slower.
The left bank of the Var is near to be an highway ! Just forget it with a bike ! The bicycle way on the left bank is very nice and never cross or share a road with some cars ! Highly recommended 😉 .

I think you mean here the right bank. Yes?
As to Monako I'll make a new track and come back here again.

Both, M6202 Bis on the right bank (looking from north to south) and M 6202 on the left banks, are just highways... BUT on the right bank there is a brand new bicycle path which leads down to La Baronne up to Pont Charles Albert. This Bicycle path quite never cross a road for cars down to La Baronne. After it use some secondary roads and only at the end a big road to join St Laurent du Var and the coastal bicycle path .
More infos here and here
So, if I understood you right we have to take the right bank of the Var and don't cross Pont de la Manda.
That's why here
The bicycle way on the left bank is very nice and never cross or share a road with some cars ! Highly recommended 😉 you mean right bank. Right 😉 ?
As to Monako, what do think about this track www.gpsies.com/mapOnly.do?fileId=extwhnrkdsvprskt&isFullScreenLeave=true ?
Nice-Monaco via Eze and return way by coast.

Exact

Yes, you are right, the bicycle way is on the right bank. Sorry for the econfusion

Nice-Monaco via Eze and return way by coast.
Just Perfect !
Just some details for Monaco, I'm quite sure that the Casino's Place and the access to the Palace are not allowed to foreigners bicycles. Just ask to the numerous policemen before trying to engage on the road, that may avoid you to pay a violation
Phil'Ô a dit :

If you work in Monaco could you please to ask to any polismen about the above?
We have time yet before departure to change our track via Monte-Carlo and safe a little time. Thanks a lot in advance.
As to another advices I have changed the track and think it is enough now. There are some problems with accommodation in some places (Malaucene, for exmample. Remember that we will try to go without tents) and car to the top of Mont Ventoux, but I am working with it...
One urgent question more, may be anybody can help us:
as I wrote we are looking for any trucks (mini-bus, taxi) for delivery from Malaucene to the top of the Mont Ventoux on Monday 22.06.2015.
5 adults with bicycles.
May be some of us will go to the top by themselves but my wife (with me 😄) goes by car or... around Mont Ventoux.
Of course, I asked already tourism office of Malaucene but without result and even answer.
Where can we try to looking for the above?
I confirm you that the bicycles are forbiden on the casino's place, but good news, it is allowed in front of the palace. 😉
Our final track located here www.gpsies.com/mapOnly.do?fileId=yvmrfsvhnxncksax&isFullScreenLeave=true
What do you think: is it possible to go there by our track (I mean the distal part of the casino's place) or forbiden evewhere?
